GOAL: To increase the positive healthy self-concept, self-sufficiency, and economical status in youth and women.

Objective: Improve the job marketing skills to make youth and women more marketable in the work industry.
Activities:

• Provide computer access for job searching
• Assist with preparing professional resumes
• Assist with preparing for interviews by role playing
• Provide referrals to Workforce Solutions Agency and etc.
• Provide interview attire from a "Big Sisters Closet" (professional clothing
  donation from professional women in the community)

Objective: Improve the positive self-awareness in youth and women through healthy self-concept workshops and conferences.The workshops will be facilitated at the Harvest Food & Outreach Center in Fort Pierce and Conferences will be at the Harvest Food & Outreach Center in Orlando.

Activities:

• Weekly Healthy self-concept classes facilitated & instructed by professional teachers with the use of a Healthy- Self-concept textbook,
  workbook, resources and guest speakers.
• To reinforce skills; provide healthy self-concept computer literacy and resources for personal assistance through a check-out system.
• Mother/Guardian -Daughter DOVE Self-esteem workshop for teen girls.
• One on One personal mentoring and counseling for women and youth recovering from mental and physical abuse.

Objective: Improve the struggle of making ends meet for hard working women and women who desire to be self-sufficient.
Activities: 

• Provide financial assistance through our SISTER-SISTER SCHOLARSHIP Program or refer to other agencies for certification classes, renewal of
  professional licenses, scholarships for career change. (qualifications are required)
• Provide limited financial assistance or refer to other agencies for utilities,rent/mortgage, short-term hardship or emergencies (qualifications are
  required).
• Provide assistance for food, clothing, household goods, moving into new residence, unexpected tragedy or emergency situations through monetary, agency referrals, in-kind or ect. (qualifications are required).
