J-E-W-E-L-S PROGRAM
SUMMARY
MISSION:
Bringing juveniles out of captivity by releasing a positive mind set through transformation.
GOALS:
The J-E-W-E-L-S (Juveniles entering wellness, education, leadership and
success) Program is structured and designed to prepare, restore, support and sustain the positive mind set in juveniles through,
wellness, education, leadership and success. JEWELS are a twenty-first century success program. Our youth are required to
wear dress attire that adhere to the corporate world...in others words; we dress and train our youth for Success!
Juveniles
(At risk youth) will attend an aftercare intervention program for six weeks with trained mentors and professionals. Every
eight weeks the program rotates with new enrollment and also services to community agencies on site. This program is designed
to prepare offenders to re-enter society and preventative measures for at-risk youth. Also, to connect individuals who have
left the supervision of the justice system with a network of social services and community -based organizations to provide
ongoing services through mentor relationships.
Objectives:
• At-risk youth will undergo healthy self-concept classes that deals wilth the transformation of the mind.
• At-risk youth will undergo consistent individual mentoring and counseling.
• At- risk youth will consistently
attend a faith base bible study which will teach them how to have dignity and respect for life (only by request).

At-risk youth will be assessed and evaluated for needs through an Individual Personal Development Plan.
Example: High
School diploma, re-entering regular school, higher education classes,
social, physical or mental needs.

At-risk youth will be trained by mentors and professionals through life and occupational skills, which is needed for survival
and the work industry.
• At the end of the six week stationary program, At-risk youth will graduate with a
certificate of completion.
• After existing the program mentors or professional staff will follow-up with the
At-risk youth once a month for six months, to insure stability and consistency of the individual's transformation.

Parental education assistance and referrals with family crisis.
• Parents or Guardians will be required to attend
one healthy-self-concept class which is part of the active support through the entire program.
SERVICES PROVIDED:
· Stationary six week program on site, includes
afternoon and summer program.
- Afternoon classes limited to 15 students per session.
- Summer program limited to 20 students per session.
· Outreach services at other community sites upon request.
REFERRALS:
·
Individual referrals from parents or guardians.
·
Community agencies or businesses who service youth.
·
District Juvenile Justice System.
